Title: Pumpkin-Apple Sticks

1 1/2 | c | Flour |
2/3 | c | Sugar |
1/4 | c | Cornstarch |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Cinnamon |
1 | tb | Baking Powder |
2 | tb | Butter or margarine |
1/2 | c | Pumpkin, canned or cooked |
| | And mashed |
1 1/2 | c | Apples, peeled and finely |
| | Diced |
| | Oil for deep fat frying |
Sift together the dry ingredients. Cut in butter. Add pumpkin and apples
and mix well. Knead on floured board. Roll out dough to a thickness of
about 1/4 inch and cut into rectangles about 2 1/2 by 1 inches. Deep fry in
oil heated to 375 degrees about 5 minutes or until golden. Drain on paper
