12 | oz | Plain flour |
8 | oz | Butter or margarine |
4 | oz | Caster sugar |
Mix together all the ingredients in a machine using a pastry blade. Roll out to about 1/4-inch thick and cut large round biscuits with pastry cutters.
Bake for 30 to 40 minutes at 325øF / 160øC / gas mark 3.
