Title: Sour Cream Anise Cookies

Yield: 8 Dozen
1 | c | Shortening |
1 | c | Packed brown sugar |
1 | c | Honey |
1 | c | (8 oz) sour cream |
3 | Eggs | |
3 1/2 | c | All-purpose flour |
3/4 | ts | Aniseed |
1/4 | ts | Salt |
In a mixing bowl, cream shortening and sugar. Add the honey, sour cream and eggs; beat well. Combine flour, baking soda, aniseed and salt; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Drop by teaspoonfuls 2 in. apaprt onto greased baking sheets. Bake at 350 degrees for 12-15 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool on a wire rack. Taken from Taste of Home December/January 1996 issue
