6 | oz | Plain flour |
2 | ts | Baking powder |
3 | oz | Margarine |
4 | oz | Castor sugar |
3 | oz | Chocolat menier |
1 | Egg | |
1 | pn | Salt |
5 | tb | Milk - to mix (approx) |
Preheat oven to Mk 5, 375øF, 180øC. Sift flour, salt and baking powder together. Rub in the fat, add the sugar, mix well. Melt the chocolate and milk together, then add the beaten egg. Mix with the dry ingredients to a dropping consistency, if necessary add a little more milk. Pour into a greased mould, bake in the oven for 30-40 minutes. Turn out. Serve with beaten egg custard.
