Separate and crush up sour balls with hammer.
To make dough; combine shortening, sugar, egg and honey in one bowl. Sift flour, baking soda and salt in the other. Add first mixture slowly into bowl with dry ingredients. Mix into a dough ball. Chill in fridge. Make snake like shapes using claylike ropes to make outlines of angels, bells, snowmen, etc. Fill the shapes with different colors of crushed up candy. Bake at 350øF for 8 min.
Put a hole in the candy with a toothpick if you need a hole to hang them.
