1	c	Brown sugar
1 1/2	c	Shortening
1	ts	Soda
2		Eggs, beaten
4 1/2	c	Flour
1	c	White sugar
2	tb	Vinegar
1	ts	Maple flavoring
1	c	Chopped nuts

Cream shortening and sugars well. Add flavoring, vinegar, and eggs. Add flour, mix well. Roll in balls. Press flat with hand. Bake at 350 degrees until lightly browned. Randy Rigg
