3 | tb | Cider vinegar |
1. Collect and rinse your fresh herbs and allow them to drip dry.
2. Place several handfuls of leaves and stems into a 4 QT saucepan. Fill the pan with water and place the pan over medium-high heat.
3. Bring the contents to a boil, remove the saucepan from the heat, and allow the contents to cool completely.
4. Strain the contents through a tea strainer or sieve and into a mixing bowl, reserving the liquid only.
5. Place teh cider vinegar into the shampoo and fill the bottle with the herbal liquid.
6. This hair rinse must be kept cool to prevent it from fermenting. For use in the shower, fill your small plastic dispenser bottle from the larger bottle. Store the large bottle in the refrigerator. To use the hair rinse, first shampoo and rinse your hair. Then saturate your hair completely with the herbal rinse and towel or air-dry it without removing the rinse. The mild vinegar odor will fade away quickly.
