1	c	Butter
1	c	Sugar
1	ts	Vanilla
2		Eggs
2	c	Flour
1	c	Nuts -- chopped
1	cn	Cherry pie filling
		Powdered sugar

Cream together butter and sugar. Add vanilla and eggs and mix well. Stir in flour and nuts. Mix well. Spread 3/4 of mixture over bottom of pan that has been sprayed with Pam. Cover with cherry pie filling. Sprinkle remaining dough over cherry pie filling. Bake for 38 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. Cut into squares.
