Title: Chocolate Chip or Butterscotch Chip

2 1/4 | c | Flour |
1 | ts | Baking soda |
1 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | c | Butter or shortening |
3/4 | c | Sugar |
3/4 | c | Brown sugar |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1/2 | c | Water |
2 | Eggs | |
1 | c | Nuts |
1 | lg | Pkg. chocolate or |
Butterscotch chips |
Sift flour, baking soda, and salt. Set aside. Cream butter or shortening, sugar, brown sugar, vanilla and water. Beat in 2 eggs. Add flour mixture and mix. Stir in 1 cup nuts and chocolate or butterscotch chips. Drop by teaspoonsful on greased cookie sheet. Bake at 375 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes. Same batter 10 x 15 inch pan for 25 minutes. Makes thin cookies. For thicker cookies, may be used in 9 x 13 inch pan.
