2 | c | Flour |
2 | c | Sugar |
1 | Stick butter | |
1/2 | c | Salad oil |
4 | tb | Cocoa |
1 | c | Water |
1 | c | Buttermilk |
2 | Eggs -- beaten | |
1 | ts | Soda |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
Sift flour and sugar. Combine butter, oil, cocoa and water in saucepan. Bring to a boil. Pour over flour mixture and beat well. Add remaining ingredients and mix thoroughly. Pour into oblong pan and bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes.
ÕICING: Õ Õ4 tbsp. cocoa 1 stick butter 6 tbsp. cream 1 box confectioners sugar Õ Combine cocoa, butter and cream in saucepan, bring to a boil. Pour over confectioners sugar, stirring constantly. Pour over hot cake.
