(No milk, no eggs, only a smidge of butter).

Õ2 c. water 2 c. sugar 1 lb. box raisins 1/2 tsp. ground cloves 1 tsp. cinnamon 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. oleo Õ Boil for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for one hour.

Õ3 c. flour 1 1/2 c. chopped nuts (optional) 1 tsp. baking soda Õ Bake: greased and floured tube pan - 325 degrees for 90 minutes. Cool in pan 30 minutes.
