Title: Sauteed Apple Rum Raisin Sauce

6 | md | Tart cooking apples peeled |
| | And thickly sliced |
2 | tb | Butter |
2 | c | Maple flavoured pancake |
| | Syrup |
1/2 | c | Water |
1/4 | ts | Ground cinnamon |
1/4 | c | Light raisins |
2 | tb | Rum |
In large saucepan cooked slice apples in butter, uncovered over medium heat
4 to 5 minutes or until nearly tender. Add maple syrup water cinnamon and
light raisins. Bring to boiling reduce heat and boil gently 15 to 20
minutes or to a light syrup consistency. Stir in rum remove from heat.
Serve over Blue Corn Blueberry Waffles or refridgerate in sterilized jars.
Freeze sauce up to 3 months. Makes 3 cups
