Title: Red Wine and Oregano Marinade

Yield: 4 Servings
1/4 | c | Finely chopped onion |
1/4 | c | Finely chopped fresh oregano or 2 tsp. |
; dry | ||
6 | Cloves garlic; minced | |
1/4 | ts | Pepper |
1/4 | c | Dry red wine |
3 | tb | Soy sauce |
1 | tb | Extra-virgin olive oil |
1 | tb | Red wine vinegar |
In blender container, combine all ingredients; blend well. Pour mixture over lamb chops, beef steak, or lamb or beef cubes for kabobs. Let stand at room temperature for 15 minutes to marinate. Makes 3/4 cup--enough for 4 servings of meat.
