Title: Old Fahioned Apple Pudding

4		To 6 baking apples
1/2	c	Sugar
1/4	c	Water
		Dash cinnamon
1/4	c	Softened butter
1/2	c	Sugar
1		Egg beaten
1	c	Flour
1	ts	Baking powder
		Pinch salt
2/3	c	Milk

Peel and slice apples into a 9 inch buttered square pan. Sprinkle with 1/2 cup sugar, 1/4 cup water and cinnamon. Mix other ingredients in order given to make a batter of pouring consistency . Pour over apples. Do not stir. Bake 350 for 45 minutes. Serve warm with cream.
