1 | Herring boned & skinned cut into 1" diagonal pcs. | |
1/3 | c | Red wine vinegar |
1/2 | c | Olive oil |
2 | ts | Sugar |
2 | ts | Dried dill chopped or - |
2 | tb | Dill fresh & chopped fine |
Mix everything except the fish together. Place fish in deep dish and pour the mixture oevr it. Refrigerate for 4-6 hours. Origin: Iliannya Sobrivas, Kallingrad-CIS, circa, 1994
