12ozItalian stype tomato paste
1/2cnWater (tomato can)
3tsBrown sugar
3tsDried parsley
2tsDried oregano
2tsSalt
1/4tsBlack pepper
1lgBay leaf
  4-5 cloves garlic; minced
2tbOlive oil
1/2lgOnion; chopped
