Title: Soft and Moist Nut Bread Abm

Yield: 1 Loaf
WET MIXTURE | ||
1/4 | c | Water |
3/4 | c | Cottage Cheese |
3/4 | c | Sour Cream |
3 | tb | Sugar |
1 1/2 | tb | Olive Oil (or butter) |
DRY MIXTURE | ||
2 | ts | Yeast |
1/2 | c | Flour, whole wheat |
2 1/2 | c | Flour, bread |
1/3 | c | Oats |
1 1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/4 | ts | Baking Soda |
1 | c | Chopped Walnuts |
Put wet mixture in Microwave and nuke for 2 min. Or warm on stove till luke warm. Dump dry mixture into the bread machine.
Add the warm stuff and press GO.
Gordon's notes: this is really good when warm. This recipe was designed and tested on a Hitachi, I press the flour firmly into the measuring cup. The DAK seems to use more liquid so a normal measuring cup of flour should be ok. It looks a bit thick when it starts but it comes out good, fills the pan right to the top. Bring all ingredients to room temperature and pour into bakery, in order. Set "baking control" at 10 o'clock. Select "white bread" and push Start. In hot & humid weather, use 1/8 c less water.
