Prepare biscuit mix according to package directions for biscuit dough, using required liquid. Roll dough out on a lightly floured surface to a rectangle that measureds 15x18 inches and about 1/8 inch thick. Dot entire surface with pieces of fresh pork sausage; sprinkle with chives. Cut dough in half crosswise and roll each half, jellyroll fashion, toward the center, making 2 rolls. Chill for easy slicing (or freeze).
Cut each roll into 1/2" slices. Arrange 1/2 inch apart in shallow baking pan. Bake at 450 degrees for 15 minutes or until golden brown. Drain on absorbent paper. Serve hot. Each roll makes about 24 slices.
