Title: Sausage-Bean Casserole

1 | lb | Pork sausage |
1 | Green pepper, cut into 1" pieces | |
16 | oz | Can lima beans, undrained |
16 | oz | Can whole tomatoes, undrained |
1/2 | c | Quick-cooking rice |
1 | tb | Brown sugar |
1 | tb | Molasses |
1 | ts | Prepared mustard |
Crumble sausage into a 2 qt microwave-safe casserole. Add green pepper. Microwave (high), uncovered, for 6 to 7 minutes or until sausage is no longer pink, stirring once. Drain. Stir in remaining ingredients. Cover with casserole lid. Microwave (high) for 8 to 10 minutes or until boiling hot, stirring once.
Tip: A 10 oz package of frozen lima beans can be substituted for canned beans. Increase final cooking time to 10 to 12 minutes.
