Title: Fire and Ice Tomatoes

3/4 | c | Vinegar |
1 1/2 | ts | Celery salt |
1 1/2 | ts | Mustard seed |
1/2 | ts | Sugar |
1/8 | ts | Red ground pepper |
1/8 | ts | Black ground pepper |
2 | ts | Salt (or 1 tsp salt and 1 |
Tsp of garlic salt) | ||
1/4 | c | Cold water |
6 | Large tomatoes | |
1 | Large green pepper | |
1 | Large red onion sliced in | |
Rings |
Bring ingredients to a boil for one minute. While hot pour over the tomatoes ( peeled and quartered), green pepper (sliced in strips), and the red onion (sliced in rings). Cover and chill overnight.
