Title: Herbed Cheese Mashed Potatoes

3lbPotatoes; peeled & quartered
1/4cMargarine
3/4cGreen onions; sliced
1tbBasil; chopped
1tbChives; chopped
1tbDill; chopped
1tsSalt
1/2tsPepper
1 1/2cCheddar cheese; shredded
1/2cMilk

In large pot of boiling salted water, cook potatoes 20 to 25 minutes or until tender. Drain in colander. Add margarine and green onions to cooking pot; cook over medium heat 1 minute. Stir in basil, chives, dill, salt and pepper. Return drained potatoes to pot over low heat. Add cheddar cheese and milk. Mash with potato masher. Source: Sargento pkg.
