Title: Southwestern Style Black Eyed Peas

1 | cn | Black-eyed peas |
1 | Carrot, diced | |
1/2 | Onion, diced | |
1/4 | Green pepper, diced | |
1 | Stalk celery, diced | |
3 | Cloves garlic, minced or | |
Pressed | ||
1/2 | ts | Salt, or to taste |
1/4 | ts | Pepper, or to taste |
1/4 | ts | Tobasco or other hot sauce, |
Or to taste |
Mix all ingredients together in a saucepan, and bring to boil. Simmer for at least 10 minutes, but 20 - 25 is better.
