3c(12-oz pkg) fresh or frozen cranberries
1mdOnion minced
1/3cCider vinegar
1cGolden raisins
1cSugar
1 1/2cPort
1/2tsGround nutmeg
1tsGround ginger
1tsGround cinnamon

Combine all ingredients except cranberries in heavy saucepan. Bring to boil then simmer for 15 minutes. Add cranberries and simmer another 20-30 minutes. Towards the end the relish gets very thick.
