Title: Kasha Filling for Knishes

Yield: 6 Servings
1 | md | White onion -- minced |
2 | tb | Unsalted butter |
2 | c | Kasha -- cooked |
1/4 | c | Gravy |
1 | Egg |
Microwave Oven Directions: Place onion and butter in small glass bowl. Cover and cook on high setting 3 minutes (or until onion is soft). Combine with remaining ingredients. Use as a filling for knishes.
Conventional Oven Directions: Heat butter in a frying pan. SautŽ onions until golden. Combine with remaining ingredients and season to taste.
