2 | ts | Water |
2 | md | Mushrooms, thinly sliced |
1/2 | c | Frozen peas |
2 | Thin onion slices | |
pn | Salt, optional |
Melt butter in a small saucepan; add all remaining ingredients. Cover and cook until peas are tender, stirring occasionally. Yield 1 serving.
Diabetic Exchanges: One serving prepared with margarine and without added salt equals 1 starch, 1 fat; also 104 calories, 104 mg sodium, 0 cholesterol, 13 gm carbohydrate, 4 gm protein, 1 gm fat.
