1/2 | tb | Sultanas. |
1/2 | Lemon, rind only, grated. | |
1 | ts | Almonds, flaked. |
275 | ml | Milk, skimmed, [1/2 pint] |
1 | Egg. | |

Thinly spread the bread with the low-fat spread. Mix sultanas, lemon rind and half the almonds together. Arrange alternate layers of bread and fruit mixture in a casserole dish.
Beat egg into mmilk. Pour over bread. Sprinkle with remaining almonds.
Bake at 375^F/180^C for 30 minutes.
