Title: Rum Rasin Squares

1/2 | c | Butter |
1/2 | c | Sugar |
1 | Egg | |
1 | c | Flour |
1/2 | c | Yellow raisins, soaked in 1/4 c Rum for one hour |
Confectioners' sugar |
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Butter a 9X12 inch pan, line with waxed paper, and butter and flour the paper. Set pan aside. In a mixing bowl, cream butter with sugar; beat in egg and flour. Drain rasins well and add to dough. Spread dough evenly in prepared pan. Bake about eight minutes. Turn out of pan and immediately remove waxed paper. Cut into one inch squares. When completely cool, dust with confectioners' sugar on top and bottom.
