Title: Southern Kiss Cake

1 | Stick butter | |
1/2 | c | Crisco |
2 | c | Sugar |
3 | Eggs, beaten one at a time | |
3 | c | Flour |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1 | ts | Baking powder |
1 | c | Milk |
1 | ts | Almond extract |
Confectionery sugar |
In a large mixing bowl cream butter and Crisco. Add sugar, beat in egg.
In another pan sift dry ingredients and alternate with milk and almond extract adding to large bowl ingredients. Mix all.
Bake in a greased and floured cake pan 350 degrees (F) 1 hour or till golden.
Cool and sprinkle with confectionery sugar.
