Title: Townhouse Chocolate Chip and Peanut Cookies

1/2 | c | Butter or margarine; soft |
1/2 | c | Granulated sugar |
1/4 | c | Brown sugar; packed |
1 | Egg | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | c | Flour |
1/2 | ts | Salt |
1/2 | ts | Baking soda |
6 | oz | Semisweet chocolate chips |
1 | c | Peanuts |
Cream butter or margarine and sugars; add egg, vanilla and beat until light and fluffy. Sift together flour, salt and baking soda; stir into creamed mixture; blend well. Add chocolate chips and peanuts and stir by hand.
Drop by teaspoon about 2 inches apart on a greased cookie sheet. Bake in 375 degree F oven 12 to 14 minutes. Remove from sheet immediately.
Makes 3 dozen cookies
