Title: Chocolate Cheese Pie for Passover

Yield: 1 Pie
1 | c | Sugar |
3 | pk | Cream cheese, 8 ounces each |
5 | Eggs | |
1 | ts | Vanilla |
1 | tb | Lemon juice |
4 | oz | Baking chocolate, melted and cooled |
Add sugar to cheese in a bowl; blend well. Beat in eggs, one at a time. Add vanilla. To 2 cups of cheese mixture, fold in chocolate. To remaining cheese mixture add lemon juice; pour into greased 10 inch pie pan*. Top with chocolate mixture. Bake at 350f degrees for 40-45 minutes. Cool then chill.
*I usually do not use a pie crust; if you wish, crumble up some macaroons or other passover cookies or mandle bread, mix with a little melted butter or margarine and press into greased pie pan like you would with a graham cracker crust.
