Title: Dressing for a Crowd

5 | lb | Sausage, pork |

2 1/2 | c | Celery; chopped |
1/2 | c | Onion; finely chopped |
2 | lb | Butter/margarine |
3 3/4 | c | Broth, chicken; to 4 1/2 c. divided |
1 | tb | ;salt |
2 | ts | Sage, rubbed |
1 1/2 | ts | Pepper |
1 | ts | Thyme |
1 | ts | Salt, celery |
1 | ts | Poultry seasoning |
1 | ts | Salt, seasoned |
Toss the bread cubes and sausage; set aside. In a saucepan over medium heat, saute celery and onion in butter until tender. Remove from the heat. Stir in 3 3/4 cups broth and seasonings; mix well. Pour over bread mixture, mix well. Add desired amount of remaining broth. Place mixture in four greased 3 quart baking dishes. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 1 1/4 hours. Uncover and bake 15 minutes longer or until heated through.
